We believe that every table deserves its own story – whether in a restaurant or a private home. Just as a chef carefully selects local, high-quality ingredients for each dish, we approach our ceramic design with equal care and respect. Our pieces are made to complement the flavours they carry and the spaces they live in – tailored to the atmosphere, the cuisine, and the people around the table.
As a duo of architects and designers, our background is rooted not in traditional craft alone, but in academic design practice. This foundation allows us to merge artisanal techniques with contemporary tools and structured creative processes. We are not afraid to experiment – exploring the uncharted edges of what’s possible within the ancient art of pottery. Our work brings together the intuition of handmaking with the precision of thoughtful design – creating ceramics that are as considered as the meals they serve.
Our story

Our daily practice expands the horizons of a sustainable approach to craft in the midst of a busy city. Each ceramic piece is handcrafted in our Hamburg studio with a focus on local production and low-impact methods.
Our German-made electric kiln runs on 100% renewable energy and meets the highest efficiency standards. We use recycled and recovered materials for packaging, giving new purpose to leftover supplies and minimizing waste. Many of our test pieces and experiments are made from production remnants, reinforcing our circular approach.
By working with natural, locally sourced clays, we stay grounded in the material’s origin – creating consciously, with respect for both process and planet.

Every material and tool in our studio is selected with care and ethical sourcing in mind. We work almost exclusively with European suppliers – many of whom we know personally and visit regularly. Our studio is completely free from animal-based products; each piece is made using vegan, cruelty-free materials.
We value transparency and traceability, ensuring that our work supports fair labor practices and honors both people and the planet. At the heart of our philosophy lies respect – for the craft, for natural resources, and for the communities that continue to inspire us.
